my 94 ranger has a 6 inch lift and 35s. it wont stay aligned at all. i get it alligned and the passanger side tire is toe out in no time like a day or so. i have all the drop brakcets camber bushing drop pitman arm. is there anything im missing or why does this keep comming un done

are they tightening the clamps on the tie rod ends enough? those could slip if someone forgets to tighten the two bolts that squeeze the split threaded tube.

inside of tire is camber my tires both point towards the middle of my truck there toe it... this would be a over head view.
/ \ front tires

| | rear tires u get the point

well trucks are supposed to be pointing inward toward each other.. but not SO much that its obvious...

can you get some pics of what the wheels look like? do the springs sag at all?

it 2 inches toe in.. its at the garge right now i dont have time 2 piss with it casue im in school

Check the pinch bolt for the camber bushings, while unlikely it could be twisting into a new setting if its real loose.

Check all suspension joints

Check to make sure the coil retaining nut is tight at the bottom of the coil

And check to be sure your bolts that hold all your lift kit bracktry are torqued tight as well.

steering angles are good coils are tight ya the garage is thinking the pitch bolts but wouldnt the onlly effet camber???

+1 on the pinch bolt. I would get my alignment perfect and after about two weeks or so it would be out again, I have thoose two piece caster bushings and the inner part wasnt getting fully pinched...when I found that out I cranked down on the pinch bolt and its been fine ever since:icon_thumby:

ok dad went 2 gARAGE TO day for me its not the pitch bolt there tightend it just keeps comming out.. it has new tie rods ball joints.. what else would make it coem out of alignment? THE CAMBER STAYS fine it the toe that keeps comming out i am stumped is it maybe bushing bad or something i just need 2 figure this out i have to drive it 80 miles 2 school and i cant afford 2 chew off 35s

mine never stays aligned. i just accept it. i get it aligned, it stays for a week then goes right out. everything is nice and tight..... but i go wheeling once and it's right back out of alignment.

TTB has a fairly narrow range that the ride height must be within in order to facilitate an alignment. The liftkit industry did not do a good job in selecting the proper spring heights for the various bodystyles and engines available (Supercab/Reg cab/BroncoII/4cyl/V6/etc.). They kindof just lumped them all onto one (in rare cases two) coil sizes for everything. Obviously a big heavy Supercab is going to sit lower on the same springs than a smaller 4cylinder truck, so this could easily cause a non-alignable condition to occur.

welcome to the wonderful world of Twin Traction beams!

i cant get it any where near aligned the garage says it comes it susprisingly well thenas soon as its drove the toe goes out
