Hey ya'll,
Im trying to remove the old axle pivot bushings and i am having no luck. From what i can tell they are simply pressed in. Ive tried the persuasion tool method but i havent had much luck. Is the only way to remove these with a puller of some sort? Or is there a simple remedy to my problem?

Its easier to get the style bushings that reuse the existing metal shell (many of the urethane ones are this way).

Take a 1.5" hole saw, cut out the center of the bushing, then use a propane torch to burn away whatever rubber is left. Slap in the new bushing and bolt it back up.

thanks junkie, ill go and buy a hole saw tomorrow. glad this is a spare setup and not under the dd.
