I need to find a dana 35 front fill plug. The only place I can see to find one is lmc truck. The dana 28 one is different. I thought it was a 1/2 npt but that is way to small. Anyone have any ideas other then those stupid rubber expandable ones?

If there was one in the junkyard I would have already. I live way up in northern michigan. With the road salt and amount of snow we get people drive them into the ground them scrap them up here. I have one actual junk yard in 50 miles and they dont have a ranger older then 98.

No '80-'96 F150s or F-250s either?

How about a pipe plug instead (3/4")? IIRC that is what I have on my Ranger's axle.

Yes it is a dana 35 ttb.

Thats what I was thinking...but I wasn't sure I already bought a 1/2 inch one that didnt fit lol. Figured Id post on here instead of just guessing again. As far as the f-150's I wasn't sure if the what front end they had. IIRC they have the dana 44 ttb. I just assumed if the one out of a 28 is to small the 44 one would be to big. And where I live the only junkyard around doesn't allow you to go in and pull parts or even look for that matter. I called them about just an axle shaft for my 35 and they would only sell me the whole axle. So i doubt they would just sell me the fill plug.

While it isn't condoned or legal.....your pocket is a good place to put small things.

And I know we have yards here with those plugs. I can try to look next friday.

Sent from the road while ignoring traffic

D35 & D44 use the same fill plug (I think also the D50 too). Not sure what size the D28's is.
