Damn man!!!!

yeah this is pretty old lol... old and legendary.

He ran hard water through the engine. If it had been distilled water, the engine would be fine.

On second thought, disreguard what I said. 99.9% will know I was BSing, but for that one person that takes my sarcasm as knowledgable advice, I will tell you it is purely BS. I am not responsible if you put distilled water in your engine.

I actually feel bad for the guy (if its for real) I especially feel bad if he got the advise from another forum member that didnt make it clear he was joking around. i dont think some people understand that some users on these forums are clueless and are looking for solid advise.

I can think of a couple of people in my life that would take this advise.

If you dont know or arent sure. better quadruple check.

actually no this guy really did this. keep reading and the other members found that he had another post about it running bad and someone suggested that he should "Run water through it to flush it out" and thats what he did.

I remember reading that thread and eventually the guy admitted it was a joke. Or maybe he just wanted everyone to stop making fun of him so he just said that it was a joke.

I didn't even need to read the first post. A little common sense goes a long way. :shok:

I remember seeing a post on an acura or honda forum once that had somebody who was reading on port and polishing heads, and decided to remove the intake tube, stick it in a bag of abrasive sand, and run the engine.

later,
Dustin

you guys dont clean out your crankcase with clean refreshing arrowhead?

I mean I figured if its good for me its good for my crankcase

i find that dasani water works the best when flushing out my engine. Dont use the fruit flavored ones though cause it makes matters worse due to the sugar.

Uh oh..... does this mean I've been doing this wrong to MY engine the whole time? :icon_rofl:

Maybe he got confused and heard engines run on water so why not his? :icon_rofl:

I spose its the same principal as Douching... Use a water that has flavor, make it smell real nice.
