My endless modifications are getting the best of me!

My Snow Stage II meth injection controller has the barb for the vacuum broken off. Was troubleshooting why the pump came on at odd times.:annoyed:

Installing my Bosch O2 wide band sensor....ran out of battery on the Makita. Need one size larger drill bit.:dunno:

Took 4 furkin hours troubleshooting a speaker problem...ONE wire was loose!:bawling:

Got fuel pressure gauge installed but the typical gauge holder will not let the display be mounted horizontal.....digital BTW.:temper:

:annoyed:

My son says "You are a Perfectionist! Just get it running!"......but why does this ONLY apply to my RANGER?:icon_confused:

Oh well.....I should have had this damn thing running months ago....

Pluses....got my horn painted...got one from a Marquis...and love that old American Duel Tone!:icon_thumby:....Installed on bottom of battery box.

Flushed my NASCAR oil cooler that I had as an auxiliary radiator.....:D Oil cooler again.:headbang:

Stuffed the wiring back into the dash for the radio...stuffed is the word...:icon_thumby:...It works!:icon_surprised:

Custom switch panel is ready to go in.....BUT....the switches need to go DOWN when on due to the way the connections are on the switches.....:black_eye:

...And on top of all this.......I have to go to work Monday Morning......thank the good Lord!:clapping:

That's why I am happy that I have another DD as well as my hobby. Looks like you have a bit of fun on your hands. By the way what kind of shifter is that?

Made by Hurst for this truck....promo for Summit Racing.....when I had some money.:icon_thumby:

I'm going to take it to a gun stock maker this winter and have a couple pieces of wood shaped to it......if I run out of things to do...:icon_twisted:

Don't worry, I get constantly frustrated by my projects as well. It's always a problem of time, money, or some obscure problem that takes a ton of chasing to resolve. In an effort to resolve the problem of having enough money to fix things, I decided a couple years ago to start snapping up deals when I had the money and storing the parts till I had the time....

Somehow the problem has been time lately though.....

That and the random obscure problem. Like the part that was discontinued 15 years ago because it never fails.... but mine did. Or the problem that is preventing the 5.0 Ranger I built with my dad from running right all the time - I've dang near replaced everything there is to replace and each time I change something the problem goes away for like 3 days then comes back.

I guess it kinda comes with the territory, lol. Good luck with your project!
