My damn A key keeps popping loose on my keyboard!

UHHGH!!

:pissedoff:

Sorry. Had to vent.

Hmmm..

Superglue:D

You had to vent because of the "A" key. Take the time to bite into a Twix bar. Make up some excuess to get a newer, better keyboard.

Its what I've always done, and now I have 3 keyboards. :D

I think he's got a laptop... Upgrade?

Finally... someone who's venting, but not politically or religiously.

My keyboard has the "hibernate" key right next to the "escape" key and so I end up hitting the wrong one half the time. It sucks, because there's NOTHING you can do to stop the computer from going all the way to hibernation once you press it.

take it to best buy. they replaced 3 of my missing keys for $15.

nother suggestion. Just stop using tht letter.

Jim Oks... Insnejughed... BDB... Hehehe!

could do this

BD@B, Jim O@ks, th@t....... you get the point

I need a new screen too. Maybe I can just buy a new keyboard and a new monitor and plug them in to the laptop.

I believe you can. or atleast get a docking station. I can plug a monitor and keyboard into mine. Often when i am feeling lazy I plug it into the 42" LCD in the bedroom and use a wireless keyboard and mouse to surf from my bed ........ kinda like i am doing now....... ;)

You can probably just plug any old run of the mill USB keyboard into your laptop.

Those go as low as $5 (but $20 is probably much easier to find).

As well as any old VGA monitor.

Keep in mind that I recently bought a BRAND NEW 17" HP laptop with an AMD dual-core for barely $600.

in college thats what i did, had a usb keyboard and mouse along with a flat pannel monitor plugged into my laptop, the computer on top of my stereo receiverr and was closed, and the monitor sat on top of it. worked out pretty well:icon_thumby:

thats what I got ...... HP with an AMD dual core......... maybe not . it says Turion64 ..... must be the cheap one then..... dammit. I like the AMD part ..... the HP part has needed to go to HP 3 times now to fix stuff. I new HD, 1 new Screen, and 1 new Proccessor fan. warrenty up so next thing that breaks and i will have an AMD dual core, but not in a Hewlitt packard.

I replaced the actual keyboard on my laptop its a dell, it was as simple as popping a panel off and removing 2 screws unplug the keyboard put the new one in, screw it down and it worked. It only ran me 35 bucks for a new keyboard, just searched replacement parts for my laptop.
