Sweet deal mate. It's like seeing a long lost relative when you get your truck back.

So what are the plans now?

Get engine looked at and tuned up and fixed
replace manual locking hubs
replace speedo gear and cable
clean it out

OK boys here the report from the shop:
truck got a oil change
Tie Rod ends are loose
Radiator leaks
water pump leaks
bad u joint in the front end
intake has an external leak under pressure

so this month il get the u joint and other lil things like greaseing and the oil change then as money comes in il save up to replace the rest as needed

awesome, but i have a question. what is Fjord? lol

its a body of water... truck was named after a game of trivial pursuit and drinking a lot of drinking:icon_rofl:

So it was the intake leak that caused the bubbles in the coolant tank?

Yup was letting air leak in and with the other leaks it was just the air trying to get out.

That will the the most spendy repair of course. The guys really nice and willing to work with me and fix up things as money allows.

Sweet!

Well, not sweet sweet, but at least you know the official cause.

Hmm..................we could put some stacks on this pig..... :D

Stacks intgrated into a roll/light bar?

Trucks back from shop with a new u joint fresh oil change greased up new oil press sender.

bad news... alternater bearing is failing or a tensioner on the belt is.

Well hopefully you get on the winning side of the Fjord there smokes. Glad you decide to keep her, she'll thank you later on with years of stout service.

There is a saying:

If it's made of metal, it can be done...

...and

Give me a welder, grinder, and a tape measure and I'll give you whatever ideas come to mind...

In a word: :icon_welder:
