how much wider is the 44 ttb than the d28 or 35. just wondering cause im looking to add a d44 ttb on my ranger. what kinda fabbing would be needed or can i just bolt up all the d44ttb stuff to my ranger.

It's about 6" wider overall, though depending on how you mount it into your brackets, you could make it about 2" narrower.

Best way to mount it IMO is to extend each beam 1" at the pivots to compensate for the spacing difference between a F-150 and RBV and bolt it straight into your pivot brackets. Without extending the beams, directly mounting it will narrow it 2" (requiring you cut the passengerside shaft(s) down some).
The last option would be to drill new holes 1" toward center on your brackets if there's enough room to do so.

Coil buckets will need to be spaced out on the frame 2" or so, and your radius arm mounts will need to be modded & moved forward a slight bit as well (keeping the axle centered in the wheelwell).

I think the D44's steering can work, though I'd use something better than the stock Y-link.

You'll also need a conversion u-joint (or swap the yoke) if you're keeping your stock driveshaft (which may need to be shortened a bit)

Hope that helps
