d44 swap for ford ranger

hi i am curios about the d44 swap, im not looking for anything crazy as in travel. i live in mt so i wont be doing any serious jumping but i want the wheel base wide enough so it will look good with a set of fiberglass fenders, Soooo i dont know weather to use the drop bracketts from skyjacker or try this d44 swap. any suggestions

If you Just want it for looks, then get some wide offset wheels.

Wheels with shallow backspacing. The mounting surface is biased to the inside of the wheel. Go on Google and type "What is wheel offset?".
