alright guys lol, well the ones that snake my thread out anyways, im starting to get a 44 ready for the front of the bronco 2, im in the tear down process but am left wondering, i currently have 3.50 gears in it, i need 3.73's i have access to a ttb d44 pig with the 3.73's my question is the ring and pinion interchangeable

nevermind, doing some part number comparisons i have found they are the same lol, resume normal activity lol

i was going to venture a guess at 'yes', glad it works out for ya :icon_cheers:

As long as they're both HP (high pinion or reverse rotation) yes they'll be the same.

Internals I believe so...I havent torn mine on my '78 axle yet. The caps look different. Im sure someone will chime in here sometime. Steering knuckes should be the same.

i got a deal on this axle so picking it up was a no brainer, 180 for everything, axle, rad arms and brackets, track bar, shock towers, Rough country lift springs, and the coil buckets. good day, pulled it from the yard, stripped it down, tomorrow i pull the spindles and shafts and commence shortening.

i may or may not be taking pictures, not sure yet
