I think i read somewhere before, that d44 spindles will bolt up to a d35? is this true? I know where to get a complete d44 from tire-to-tire. Im not to fond of swapping in the full front end, but I would deffinetly be interested in just the D44 outters, i really only want the hubs and bolt pattern. And i dont want to ream the knuckles either. So what am I narrowed down to?
thanks

only way other then reaming the BJ's is to find a 96 bronco with a 5 bolt spindle and some chevy caliper brackets and a few other pieces

i believe its in the faq somewhere

Ok, well I wonder could someone point me in the direction of reaming the ball joints?

Basically find a machine shop. They'll be able to ream out the beams for you. So long as you know what the taper is on them.

What about the outter shafts? will the d35 one have the same spline count to match the d44 hub? or does the d44 outter shaft bolt on to the d35 inner one

You use D44 outer stub shaft. The U joints are the same d35 or d44.

ok cool, thanks!
i wonder how much a new spindle for a 1996 bronco costs?

on mine i actually cut the lower balljoint mount from a d44 arm and welded it into the 35 arm.this was done in concert with a 4'' cut and turn.as sasq says, the d44 stub goes on to the 35 inner shafts,i beat the ever livin' snot out of this front end with no problems.

i highly recommend this mod.

i like this versino

If youhave access to a wheel to wheel 44 why not swap everything? It seems like it would be MUCH easier than what your talking about.
