i just swaped in a d35 in to my 88 ranger and the passanger side tire sticks out ferther then the driver side,:dunno: what would couse this? i havent got it alighned yet, would that be it? every thing is ok with the d35.

Mine did that, but barely, so I wasn't concerned, Yeah, how much?

if your alignment and setback are in spec just loosen the body mounts and center it if it still bothers you

its not alighned yet, im doing that on wensday, i would say 3 to 4 inch differance.

wow thats alot 3" to 4" do u have a bent braket maybe did the dana 28 fit right???? and did u change the brakets????

ya the d28 was fine, when every thing was out i tightend the bracket bolts up and inspected them, every thing is fine, matbe not 4'' difference, 2'' i would say. its noticable though.

i just took a level to it there is way more positive camber on the p side, thats all. thanks to all that got back to me. mike

you might take a tape measure and check that the springs are settling to the same height so you can put a spacer in if needed before the alignment.not a bad idea to jump/bump it a bit to help settle it beforehand also.
