Can anyone tell me where to find an exploded of a D35 front axle with ABS? Everyone I have found does not show the ABS parts. Need to know about the block the sensor sticks through. And the bolt holding it to the knuckle.

I believe the "block" the sensor sticks through is the knuckle itself. it just bolts to the knuckle with a single bolt and a little fork thingy to retain the sensor.

there is a tone ring on the back of the rotor that it reads from.

other than that I do believe it's the same as w/o ABS.

In fact I had the ABS tone rings on the back of my 2wd rotors, even though the truck doesn't have front ABS. There was just an empty hole for the sensor.

Yeah, Ledd is right. The only differences are the sensors in the knuckles and the tone rings on the rotors.

Nope. There is a block, that hangs over the spindle flange, which is held in place by a very small bolt that goes in from the back side of the spindle. It has to be removed to pull the spindle, which is the goal.

Its a 6mm 12 pt socket that is needed to remove that bolt.

I believe you are correct. I went to a parts store and they didn't have anything specifically for it but thought it was 5/32 12 point. Then went to Sears and the smallest 12 points available were 3/16, 7/32, and 1/4. I bought one of each, I didn't have them anyway, and the 1/4 is big and the 7/32 is small. Pulled out a conversion table and found 6mm to be in the middle.
Sears had no 12 point metrics in the store. Sears sells a 6mm 12 point but only online. Gonna look for one I can get without having to wait for shipping.
Have checked NAPA, Advance, Lowes website but no one has it.

Would a wrench fit in there or will just a socket work? I would imagine if you aren't having luck finding a 12 point 6 mm socket, a wrench would be easier to locate.

It pertty much has to be a socket. I think a 1/4" drive Deep would be best. 3/8" drive may work. The head is down in a recess, or hole, in the back side of the knuckle.
