This is my offroad build of a 1984 ranger 2.3l i bought it for 300$.

the ugly red interior soon to be changed :icon_welder:
pic125.jpg

the only rust on this thing is on the left rear above the box
pic127.jpg

It didnt start due to having a "toast" starter so i got one at lordco with my handy discount for 110$. after i got it running i drove it a bit and realized the tranny is blown(bearing blew) didnt think it was worth buying a new one i waited about a month...whitin it i decided to redo the interior starting by ripping it all apart

I sprayed boxliner on the floor and behind the seats, i painted all the peices with black trim paint(for plastic) and replaced the roof lining with black swade.

right after i finished all this we (me and step-dad) got to new vehicles
:yahoo: this beast of a samurai stands over 7ft tall(yoda axels 3.8 buick motor and turbo 350 trans and 36" mud kings) the littler samurai is my siters getting painted and no those are not her tires just roll arounds (has 31" and spoa lift)

and i scored this for 200$ just needed clutch very cheap with my discount...
grrrr cant find picture anyway its a 1988 ford bronco 2 2.9l fm146 4x4...seeing as i was goona chop the back of the ranger frame off for smaller wheelbase i decided to just put my ranger cab on the bronco 2 frame (thanks todd? for the idea and the one in truck gallery) and now another tear down

that sensor going into the rear diff is your rear abs sensor.

looks like a pretty nice project you got going there. Keep it up!

wow

im surprised there isnt more replies about this lo...anyway what does everyone think?...and i wanna do a D30 swap to it with leaf springs reason being for the d30 is because in BC most of the wheelin is on like hardcore atv trails so you need the small wheelbase/width :D

:'( nothing this is so annoying its not even funny and since then weve moved so i was to far away from the shop its at...but hopefully some progress will be made soon since tommorow it might be getting towwed to my new place :yahoo:

anyway so can someone please clear it up if its a 4 inch or bigger im starting to think way bigger...:icon_confused:

also im putting i think 5 inch super flex rear toyota lift springs in the back so i gotta move the rear spring hanger forward and i gotta make some new shackles seeing as i broke these ones trying to flex the rear ( i never new they were that stiff in th back...>.<)

Well change in plans again time to get chevy leafs for this...

:sad:and really only 13 reply's on this...? which almost all are mine....i guess its a rep thing:sad:

don't worry about it, a lot of people just read and don't comment. Personally, I dont like to see a build thread cluttered up with "thats cool" and "awesome."

I see a "build thread" as a personal log of all modifications, and the other forums as places for comment on specific changes. one forum i'm a member of has the "build thread" forum locked from replies other than the person that started the thread.

that being said, i like the build, and the zuk's look like a lot of fun :icon_thumby:
