cylinder heads, timing belts/chains..?

do Rangers have cast iron or aluminum cylinder heads?

also, which models have timing belts and which have chains?

4 cylinder Lima engines used from 1983 to 2001 had timing belt.
All other Ranger engines had a timing chain or chains(4.0l SOHC, 2001 to 2012)
All were cast iron, block and head

I believe the 4 cylinder 2.3l DOHC Duratec engine, 2001 to 2012, was all aluminum, with timing chain.

Besides being slow, I'm not sure why they get the cold shoulder. Mine is still kickin' with 220k, clean as a whistle too.
