I used a Snap-On prybar style spring compressor on the other 5 cylinders and it worked pretty good. Then comes my arch enemy #3 (it is also a major pain to change that spark plug) I can't even get my prybar back in there, so I went and got the jaw type compressor with the knob on top. With it I can only compress the top half of the spring... as it gets compressed the bottom half becomes uncompressed and takes up the difference.

Any pointers on how to get this last one done? The truck had A/C so it has the big heater box getting in the way, and it also has a 3" bodylift that helps free up a little room, otherwise the jaw type compressor wouldn't have even fit back there.
