My automatic hubs on my ranger failed a few months ago. I switched to the rugged ridge manual lockers. In a few weeks they failed. I bought another set and that set completly granaded. I know I put them on right. So I checked the CV axles and they have a bunch of play in them spesifically closer to the tires. This is happening on both sides. Is there a barring that could be bad causing this problem or is it just the CV axles? I know the wheel barring is good.

Thanks!

I really need to get it fixed and don't know where to start, any help would be great

Hard to tell without looking at it myself.

It would be cheaper for you to take it to a local shop than to pay me to come fix it.

It ended up being the barring that holds up the CV axle. I replaced the whole wheel barring assembly
