i bought a set of 4" lift coils on ebay (superlift i think) and installed them in my truck and it didnt take long before i realised they must be 6" lift. i'm only using high rider lift brackets so i only wanted about 3 1/2" - 4" total and its nowhere near alignable now. after my daily driver took a shit on me yesterday i am forced to make the project truck street worthy. i need to get front lift back into the 3-4" range or less, and i can either cut those springs or i can use stockers with washers under them. another option may be explorer coils with washers (if my dad lets me use his springs) what do you all think?

I would probably go with stock coils & spacers as a temporary fix.

Superlift coils would probably be better called "superstiff". Cutting them will only make them even stiffer still.

yea i decided not to cut them, i used explorer coils and about 1/2 inch of washers but only got about 1/2 inch of lift total. tomorrow i will weld up some taller spacers. i may try the stock springs, they are fairly new (1-2 years?) the PO replaced them before i got the truck so maybe they will be a little taller than the 15 year old explorer springs
