Custom motor mounts?

Does anybody have a source or know of anyone that produces custom motor mounts for Windsor v8 motor swaps? Would like a set that sits the engine back one inch and up one inch.
 
Fox Mustang convertible mounts with spacers between them and the block, locate the holes in the crossmember as far back as possible? Not custom mounts but cheaper for sure.

There is no exact placement that everyone uses, so your numbers mean absolutely nothing.
 
Rangers never came with a V8 so there is no stock or natural placement.
Ever heard of a v8 swap into these trucks? They have been doing them for over 30 years, or did you miss that because you head is buried in the sand. Seriously, dude....really did you not pick up on that?

you asked for engine mounts that raise the new motor up and back one inch from stock or natural placement.
v8s never came in a ranger so there in no stock placement to reference 1 inch up and 1 inch back from.
what tin man tried to mention, before you jumped down his throat, is all placement of v8s in rangers will be custom not "natural"
yes, we all know people have been swapping v8s into rangers for years. most have us have done it without asking for a forum for help.

now, to get to your question. when you say 1 inch back and one inch up. are you talking the front of the 351 1 inch back from where the front of a 4.0 would be? or the front of a 3.0? 2.9? 2.3?
or do you mean once inch back from where the BACK of each of those engines would be.
when you say one inch up do you mean one inch up from the top of a 4.0? soch or ohv? or 2.9? or do you mean one inch up from the bottom?

see how vague your question is when dissected? or did you miss that because you head is buried in the sand.

Now:
Every swap is different and custom. There is a range of where you can position the motor without major modifications. There is no way to actually answer your question. Try rephrasing or expanding upon it. You will get a better answer.

Ok. Where is your motor currently that you’d like to move it 1” back and up from?

Ok we are going to modify Peabody and Sherman's way back machine so I can tell a story that delves into the future and past at the same time. I have an 86 ford ranger that originally came with a 2.3 four cylinder. I have swapped in a 351 windsor using stock 87 mustang motor mounts. Since I am somewhat of a grudge type drag racer. I would like to move the entire engine and transmission up 1 inch and back 1 inch. To assist in traction by moving weight back and up by moving the crank centerline back and up relative to the vehicle.

In this hypothetical situation, did you use Fox body motor mounts, stock V6 mounts and adapter plates, or something else?

For Fox mounts, back is easy. Drill the holes in the crossmember exactly 1” back from their current location. 1” up... make some spacers where they mount to the block.

For adapter plates, drill new holes in the plates exactly 1” forward of the current holes. (Trust me, moving the holes forward will move the engine back.) For 1” up... make some spacers (1” thick) and use longer bolts.

For something else... I’d have to see it before I could give you any options. (But it would probably involve a tape measure and the 1” mark.)
 
Up won't do anything to the weight distribution. Back, yes.... but up, no. Just drill new holes where you need them. Easy Peasy.....
 
Raising the crank centerline does move the weight around and helps driveline geometry and launch angles. Btw 87 mustang gt mounts were used in this hypothetical situation.
