I bought some guages (oil press, temp, volt) to add to my truck. At first I was going to mount them where the ashtray was. Started to think that I would like to have them on the dash and add a tach and speedo. Has anybody made their own gauge cluster? How did you light it ? I got some extra .250 aluminum that I could make the face out of and mill the holes for the guages. Any thoughts?

Usually the gauges come with their own lights, all you have to do is tap into the lamp wire in the harness.

I used 3/16" plexiglass to make my Son's & mine, you can see em in the links within my signature.

GOOD LUCK & post some pics of whatever you decide!
