usually you have to run both pipes over to the passenger side (since the front driveshaft is on the driver side) then after the t/case you can run them back on opposite sides. don't have anypics b/c mine is not true dual.
IMO you don't need a true dual exhaust on a 2.9 tho... if you're doing a v8 swap, maybe.
Yea "true" dual exhaust will not scavenge like a single, single split into two, or dual exhaust with a cross over pipe. Dyno tests (on nearly any engine) will show with true dual exhaust you will lose a lot on the low end of the powerband. On a 2.9L sized engine making 140 horsepower, a single 2.25" exhaust will be more than adequate.
Yeah im running headers and i thought forget the 2into1 pipe and make it true dual all the way back to about the gas tank with a set of flowmaster delta 40s with turndouns?
