My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
I'm guessing the heat and photons from the headlights greatly accelerates whatever chemical reaction causes the yellowing...?

In any event, I'm about to get after my headlights with whatever polishing compounds, toothpaste, and buffer wheels I can dig up in my utility room... not sure what I'll use for clearcoat...?

Your blinker fluid reservoir is probably leaking into the headlight housing, so all that polishing and buffing will be for naught . . .

:icon_rofl: Sorry man - I had too :icon_twisted: Don't forget they can be sanded with very fine sand paper and work towards 1000 to 1200 grit and THEN polish. Good Luck

LOL... but I think the blinker fluid IS causing my dim left headlight (moisture-related electrical) issue... ;')

Dude, how is your latest lost-foam (console) casting project coming?

I think I'll take your cue and do a custom center (or OVERHEAD?) thingy to conceal an Ithaca Auto & Burglar 20 ga. AOW... just to keep away all the truck-jackers who will soon be after my pimpin' ride... :headbang::icon_welder:

I have it installed and in Rust Red Primer for now - been too cold to attempt spraying it, plus I need to determine what color I am going to go with. I am considering wrapping it in a stretch vinyl I heard about on another forum that deals with custom interiors and audio systems - only hitch - it is $24 a yard - ouch! But as soon as updates are made I will bring the thread back to life . . . good luck with yours and post up some pics.
