Or lack of. 87 Ranger, 5-spd. Don't want to go to bucket seats either so does anybody have a decent solution for cup holders? Not those flimsy things that hang on the door. Links to a catalog perhaps?

I know that the 3rd generation trucks (like my '94) came with a mini console around the shifter, which has two cupholders.

I'm think the 3rd gen console RobbieD refered to is an easy swap over at least to a 2nd gen. I'm not positive on the 1st gen as is has the bent shifter. Its defentily worth a shot though for what a j-yard will charge ya.

thoose $5 floor consule organizer things at wal mart fit perfectly behind the shifter you might look at thoose they hold most cups pretty good because they're adjustable. just my opinion though let me know because if you find something better i may interested

I've got a 93 or 94 shifter console in my 88 Ranger...my shifter knob is straight though...but it fits perfectly around mine...only problem is the holders are a bit low...

All good suggestions. I was hoping to find something not so far down, but you take what you can get. I wonder if one of the pop-out kind would work. I had a Dodge van that it pulled out like the ash tray but was a dual cup holder.
