Thanks for inviting me in. I have a '94 Ranger XLT plain Jane model with a 3.0, AOD and an open diff. It was my father's daily driver until he died three years ago. It sat around for two of those years waiting for its original heir to do something with it. I finally took possession of it earlier this year and have been slowly repairing it: intake snorkel, frozen calipers, fuel pump, among other less critical items. My father was a stickler for maintenance, and at 117K+ you literally cannot hear the engine idle. I'm going to keep it and improve on it. Next on the agenda is a new set of front rotors; the frozen calipers turned those suckers bright red on more than one occasion! After that, I'll be upgrading to 235/75/15s to fill up those wheel wells and paint it after that. I would eventually like to upgrade the open diff to a L/S. That item led me to this forum. Feel free to educate me, and thanks in advance for your help.
