Cruise Control info please

89 Ranger where are the main c/c components located such as clutch multifunction switch,cruise module,brake switch,etc. Also some of the common problem causes. The system does nothing,have checked fuse and replaced switches (they were broken).These are new problems to me I've had a Bronco II for ten years and EVERYTHING still works! IDK if its the same but i have a 84 BII and its on the driver side its a big ol round thing with vacuum lines going this way and that way. Mines vacuum operated but being newer yours might be electrically operated. its a pretty simple mechanism really easy to replace things.
