Cruise control from another ranger

I bought an 87 4 x 4 ranger standard cab. I am taking all the goods parts off of my 86 xlt extended cab 2 x 4. The standard cab does not have cruise control or air conditioning. Has anybody swapped the cruise control into a non cruise control truck? I know I need to swap the steering column but I am not sure what else.
