I've done some searching and can't find anything conclusive, not to mention barely talked about. I am wanting to make my 92 5.0 swap like its factory. My cruise control is wired up and works i just need the correct cable to connect from the servo to the TB on a gt40 upper intake. Will a foxbody one be long enough? What cable will work? Thanks

What engine did you have to start with? I assume you have tried your stock cable?

I think you are on the right track, I don't know for sure personally.

Mine is carbed, I used a cable from a carbed '85 5.0 F-150 and it fit perfect :dntknw:

Watch the connections though, I know in thru the early 90's they were changing servos and the connections might be different.

I know that my 95 f150 has an electronic servo and the 92 and earlier have a vacuum servo like the ranger and fox. I know the fox has the same connction to the servo but idk how long it is. I just need to know lengths pretty much. I will look into the f150 cable.

I was just throwing out what I did to give context that while I went down this road my setup is totally different than yours.

I can't find a pic of a Mustang engine bay that shows a servo so I don't know how far they have to go. An EFI F-150 cable might work though.

if i would've went carbed it would work. Problem is that i used a GT40 intake so i have to wrap the back of the engine to passenger side. I need about 6-8 more inches of cable. Thank you though.
