I'm having a problem figuring out how to fix my clearence issue for my 2 pc to 1 pc driveshaft and the old carrier bearing crossmember. Anybody have any ideas without removing the whole crossmember or a easy replacement without alot of fab work? Its for the ranger in my profile.

You remove it, plain and simple.

It is not structural in anyway, for it to be it would have to attach to the top and bottom lips of the c channel frame. Its only riveted to the bottom of it.

Toss it.

I've put 100,xxxkm's on since my swap with a removed crossmember, no issues what so ever. Pull it, it'll make a nice addition to the scrap pile....

Oh, ic great. and i can always use more scrap! I just was going by the tech library article and wanted some advice, thanks again guys
