Good afternoon all, I recently bought a raised transmission crossmember from Ricksrangerz. The install seems simple, but where do I put my jack to jack up my transmission? The pan, or closer to the driveshaft?

With an automatic, under the pan is usually the place to raise and lower the transmission. Most of the weight is around that area. You may have to strap or chain it for stability but shouldn't need it to keep the transmission from tipping with it just sitting there.

I would cut a 2x4 to span the width if the pan and put that between the jack and the transmission pan. That will spread the force to prevent any possible damage to the pan.

I'd be inclined to cut a piece of 3/4 inch pressure treated plywood to support the entire pan, but of course, I'm just an amature :D
well, unless you're using a bottle jack :)
