So I was dismayed to find out that I would not be able to reinstall the AC unit on my A-Arm LT ranger after building 2 I-Beam ones that kept it. I am now looking at the possibilities of putting an aftermarket set up on my truck with a connect for helmets. I wanted to know if anyone has seen a good build thread that involved details of companies used, and method of install for this kinda project in particular.

Thanks in advance for the info if you guys have it.

Right now Im looking at different TTs and trying to see if there is a way to adapt their systems to my truck. Looks like I would lose my rear window but at least I wouldnt be melting to my seats in 100 degree temps at work.

Alright so a long time friend informed me his dad is working on creating an AC unit for cars and trucks. Once I get a hold of him I may have found a possible solution for my problems. Definitely going to be interesting for sure.

The main issue now is going to be where to mount it. Im thinking the best place would be rear window but that might be a little ridiculous so another option might be the bed cage with some ducting running into the back of the cab.
