On my 93 2.3l does the crank sensor control just spark or fuel as well? I am wondering because I lost signal(Pulse) to my injectors but still have spark.

I should hope that the injectors do not have spark. Injector+spark= burnt out truck.

Anyway, no. The cam sensor is responsible for letting the computer know when to pulse the injectors.

I ask because my truck doesn't have a cam sensor

Then yes, it runs off the crank sensor.

If you have good power but no switching ground I would suspect a computer issue.

What I am trying to figure out now is why there are four wires coming off the crank sensor. I assume 1=Ground 2=Key Hot 3= Signal for coil 4=Signal for injectors.

Yes the crank sensor is a dual hall effect sensor that supplies PIP signal for spark and CID signal for fuel injection

Exactly!

If Haywire wants 1993 schematics, send me a PM (< Click on my username) with an E-MAIL ADDRESS.

Sorry for the late reply, I solved my issue. The old girl jumped time. She was 6 teeth off on the timing cam. Odd
