I use to frequent this page a ton, but my life has went a different direction and now I'm building datsuns. Question is this. I'm needing a serpentine crank pulley for my Datsun L20b engine. I've been told pinto pulleys and other fords have the same pattern. Can anyone help me out on the possibility of a 2.9 3.0 4.0 pulley working out? Ideally it would have a v belt and a serpentine on the same pulley. So my alt can be v belt still. SC is all that's needing the serp

I don't have much input on the pulley quandary, but I am curious what kind of Datsun you are working on? I have always been a fan of the 510.

I can't think of a crank pulley with both a v belt and serpentine. Your best bet may be to walk around a wrecking yard and look for something that would work. Why not include the alternator on the serp belt? You can likely swap the v belt alt pulley for a serp one.

Not sure if it would work or could be modified to work, but my 94 Intrepid with the 3.3 had a serp/ v pulley combo. the serp ran everything but the a/c, and the a/c was v belt.

Working on a 521 pickup at the moment. Have had an old z car and a 510 wagon. Love them all. I would love to just walk a junk yard, but I was hoping to get some numbers to verify what I have and what I'm looking for. Got the next few days off of work, so I'll do some window shopping I suppose. That intrepid might do the trick. I guess I could swap out the alt pulley but I'm a bit low on space being its a huge Saturn alt instead of the Datsun 35amp
