is there any way to check the cowl drains for blockage without pulling the fenders off??? the water leak is mostly on the pass side.....I have checked the body sealer on the drip rail and have checked the lower corners for rust and didnt see any... you can sometimes see where the water runs down the firewall.....the windshield is cracked and appears to be delaminating on the lower corners.... just want to eliminate anything else before I replace the windshield

pull the liner...easier to pull the fender on the old schools though

might be the seam across the firewall. is it just the corners or is it near the trans tunnel.

yeah I found a video on youtube... he didnt pull the fender all the way off, just enough to get to it and unclog it

man...there is some crazy shit on the you toobz

i found that (on my truck atleast) the passengerside drain did NOTHING, no water came out that side unless the drivers side tires were a good 4" higher, so the truck was leaning, i poured water in the cowl holes and it all came out the drivers side...

if you think yours is plugged and that's what is causing your leak, pour in some water, see how fast it comes out onto the ground, it should be almost as fast as you pour it in... that and if you get water on the floor when you pour it in the cowl, you know you have an issue anyways!
