Does anyone know where the drain for the cowl is on a 1st gen bronco2? Mine is clogged, probably with mud, and now its leaking water everywhere engine compartment and on the floor inside right over the ecu too. I tried flushing it with a hose, no luck and tried spraying water up in the side of the fenders, i remember it draining there but now its not. anyone had this problem?

if you take the fenders off you'll see rectangular holes on either side of the cowl with a little flap of rubber over it.you should be able to see whats going on in the cowl from there.hopefully your cowl isent rusted and leaking.you will need to remove the windshield and drill out the spot welds on the top cowl panel to get in there and weld up the rust holes and repaint the inside of the cowl.if you dont want to go that far you can try and use automotive body sealer from the inside of the cab after using rust neutralizer so it will hold for a year or so.

Leaves and all kinds of other junk can get in there and clog up the drain holes. Your best bet would be to put a shop vac hose through the wiper motor cover and vacuum it out.

its a little rusty, but i dont think its all the way through. worked fine a week ago
