only bumper build pics are as blurry as my vision when i welded it up

.
but its pretty much like this-
i cut pieces of cardboard and taped them together so i could put it on the truck to see if it would look off somehow or needed clearancing(black spray paint too).
bought some 1/4" plate and work duty rated 2" i.d. square tube for the recievers as i was in the mood to build something that would cause even more than the 3500$ damage my stock bumper did to the ass who hit my parked truck head on.

(the ins. check bought the duff long arms and bumper supplies)
cut it up with a steady torch hand and welded it up and ground it smooth.
bumper brackets are welded to the bumper and slide on the outside of the frame with 4 bolts per side( only two per and it would slide around when yanking) with a frame reinforcement plate that bolts on the inside of the frame and ties in over a foot back to help keep the frame horn from wrinkling like it did when i plowed an astrovan at 15mph

.i don't have the accordian frame thankfully though so its easy to work with
you should mount it up higher with a recess in front to tuck it in a little so it looks right and dosn't stick out a mile
do you have cables run to the rear for the winch? how do you secure the winch/cradle in the bed?
not yet, that damn copper is some spendy shit.you can get the quick connects through graingers catalog cheapest i found and use welding cable.
i want to put a reciever in the inner bed wall so i can locate the winch easily but for now i wratchet strap it in the corner between the spare and hi-lift.
