It was beyond a cold for me, your results may vary though.

Yep, results vary. Here's hoping it's more like a cold than a flu. The last time I tested positive, it was along the lines of what 85_Ranger_4X4 described. Other than the positive test, one would think I just had a cold.

Mine is similar to a bad cold. Except I had really bad body aches for the first couple days. I didn't want to get out of bed. Felt miserable. This is day 5 for me. Mostly sinus congestion right now. Some headache due to that. Haven't had any fever yet, unless it happened while I was sleeping.

I need to retest tonight or tomorrow morning to see if I can go back to work tomorrow afternoon. I don't want to waste any more vacation time. But I should probably stay home a few more days.

I had it pretty bad for 7 or 8 days...

Usually the body aches and fever go hand in hand.

Hope your wife and you pjtoledo get through it easily.

she's getting slightly better. I haven't developed any symptoms ,,,,,,yet
I did have a nasty cold in mid January, maybe that was covid. didn't test for it then.

It’s so hard to tell after the first round and everyone responds differently. It seems the only thing that stands out is the body aches. For me, regardless of whether it’s cold like or flu like, I get the body aches. Where as, if it’s just a regular cold or flu, it’s just in my back. But your guess is as good as mine.

it's my turn, tested positive a few minutes ago.
I'm in my second day, mild cold symptoms so far. can still taste & smell, wife cant do either.

TISSUES TISSUES my kingdom for a box of TISSUES :icon_thumby:

Welcome to the party. :bye:

How long does the party last? 15 days? :icon_rofl:

when she came down with it I adopted a what 'da hell, let's get this over with attitude. didn't even try to isolate.

first time for both of us. she is feeling better today.
today was the first time I was tested, did without for almost 3 years.

I don't know yet. Day 7 for me. My first time, too.

My case lingered for weeks...

I forget what the rules are now. It used to be 14 days and a negative test. The time frame was shortened but I can’t say for sure what that is. 6 days??? At least, that is the military protocol. The civilian world might be different.

That sounds right. It's definitely in the single digits now.

It varies by employer, I believe. I need to double check mine. I know at least 3 days since last fever is part of my requirements. I might have to have a negative test, also, which would make sense.
