Just curious.... Do the door cards from 95-01 Explorers fit a 97 Ranger? If so, what has to be changed for the opening mechanism if anything? Lastly, would you say there is more room from inside of door card to speaker on the Ranger panels or the Explorer panels??
Thanks fellas!
The long version:
In case you're wondering, I wanted to know because I am doing a big stereo system upgrade, and would like as much space between my new speakers and the door card as possible. Also, it would be kinda cool to have unique panels that few or none have ever seen in a Ranger. I realize I would also have to go from manual everything (windows, mirrors, locks) to power... I know its very possible but is it worth it? I have already removed the 20 out of the 60/40 seats (in other words, they're buckets now) and just last night I found a NEW, yes BRAND NEW, Explorer center console shell AND lid. Matching my interior. So stoked.
