Hey guys I'm new to the forum I have a 1994 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 liter V6 with the 5 speed manual. First off alot of my dash lights are out and I was wondering if any of you guys know of any easy ways to fix them. Also my ignition is loose. Could this problem be fixed by getting a new ignition switch. Thanks for any help in advance.

well the dash bulbs shuld be pretty easy to change, at least it was in my 98

Do you have any advice as to how to change them. Srry about the stupid questions

You need to remove the dash panel first. It pops off. Then remove the instrument cluster. There isn't much room back there for your hands. Just unplug the two power plugs and it's out. I had some burned out lights and when I read about it here a lot of people were using LED lights. I replaced mine with the brighest white ones. You can find them on superbrightleds.com. they are a 194. You can put them in your climate control panel too. As far as the key switch, mine is the same. Been that way since 2003 when I got the truck. Not really a problem. Do a search on instrument panel here and you'll get some step by step info.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Remove the screws behind the ashtray too in order to get the panel off.

is 194 the light type, if not could you guide me to a specific bulb. srry for all the questions guys, thanks for all the answers

Yeah it is. I threw away my paperwork or I'd tell you what I bought. Look in the tech section or do a search here under led lights. Lots of good info.
