Ok, so I am currently having a couple of issues.
1. My 2001 4.0L shakes when its at idle. It's not a massive or alarming shake but it's definitely not supposed to do that.
2. I am trying to figure out where the EVAP solenoid is located.

Need some help. Just started doing my own work on the truck so simplistic answers would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

On my 99, it’s on the drivers side fender well. I would say more than likely it’s a vacuum leak, or needs a tuneup. Any codes?

If you want to rule the evap solenoid out just disconnect the vacuum port for it and cap it off and test drive it to see if that’s where the problem lies.

There are actually two solenoid valves on a 99. The vapor management valve on left side of engine compartment and the vent valve on the evap canister in front of the spare tire over the rear axle.

Start with plugs and wires. If that doesn't smooth it out you probably need to move on to the coil.
