absolutely amazing...the 2.3 and fear is really my main restraint at this point lol...i could use a little more shock on the big stuff cause it started using alotta bump stop but it still kept the wheels on the ground. i was very suprised.

i hope your good and happy lol you got me wanting prerunner

thats sweet! im glad that it all worked out right. makes me want to build another ranger as just a prerunner for pre runnin lol :icon_twisted:. god i want to get mine done soooooooooo bad! you really dont make this easy for me lol.

so i got a new idea when i finish the ranger. My dad has an old 2wd 93 chevy 3500extended cab, long bed with the 6.5 diesel and a blown trans. i think im gunna build long travel suspension for the front, four link the rear, put a built tranny in it and build the motor a bit and cage it for a sweet prerunner. it sure as hell would be one of a kind! i have had this project in my head for as long as my race ranger haha

Looks amazing.

The only thing I would do, if it were mine, was to swap in a factory cluster with a tach and lose the one on the dash.

that would be really cool!....It could double function as a prerunner and a chase truck during the race...you could cage the rear to hold 4 tires and build a tool box into the extended cab part...thats kinda what i want to do with my dads 4 door f-350 v-10. i pulled my truck to the desert with it last weekend and i drove it around a bit for fun and i think it would serve good as a chase truck.

thanks! ya im not into the "V-tec" tach either but hopefully soon it will have a race style dash and the tach could go with the rest of the guages

My truck is a small, closer to stock clone of yours. Yours didnt come with a tach in the cluster either. I mounted a black hot-rod looking one on the column. It looks pretty good. Did you just splice into the pcm? I tried to avoid doing that but had to anyway because i couldnt find an accurate signal anywhere else.

P.S. Shift boot

ya i went and got a wiring diagram from shop nearby and the told me that the only wire that gave out the RPM was a brown and white wire (if i remember correctly) behind the cluster so i just cut into that one..not sure if thats the pcm you are talking about..never heard that acronym before.
