Just bought a B3000 to add to my family's Ranger collection. $400 for a very clean truck with 30k original miles and no mechanical issues whatsoever, couldn't pass it up.

The only issues I've run into so far are a buildup of crap on the hood that won't come off with the rain-x car wash that I tried, and the rubber/trim around the windows is starting to fade and shrink. Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to restore them:D

There's some pics so you can get an idea of what it is (If you can tell from the crappy phone quality, I siliconed one of the chrome pieces in, it looks good and is 100% guaranteed to stay there for the next 50 years lol)

I would use a clay bar on the hood and see if that helps. Also a good rubbing compound like Meguiars Ultimate Compound for the hood also.

Also for the black I would use again some Meguiars Ultimate Black for the trim. There is really nothing you can do to bring it to new besides replacing the part but the Ultimate Black will do a good job making it look new between washes.
