A '91 Ranger that I just bought has some corrosion on the aluminum 10 hole rims. The depth of this would require heavy sanding to feather it out. My question is....since these rims have the fine serrations, will sanded areas stand out?

I'm curious what others have done on these rims. Nothing I have seen online mentions how to restore an aluminum rim with these serrations.

I don't have the same rims you do but i sand blasted mine wet sanded with 400 and 600 grit to re polish them somewhat and re cleared mine. It may give you an idea, i;d go take a pic for you but it's 2:00 am here, 5*f outside and they are covered in road salt :(
