A true patriot does what's right and best for his/her country. They don't do it for money and publicity. This woman isn't a hero, she's an opportunist. She doesn't deserve a medal.

The true Patriots are the ones out there caring for people and putting their health at risk helping and saving others.

To many people in this country thinking they're a patriot. Not enough people working together.

My daughters best friend has a wealthy father. He offered to pay her to stay home and not go to work in the emergency room. She refused and did her job. She got COVID-19 and is recovering. She's more of a patriot because she was thinking of others, not herself.

I don't hide in my house. I actually took my daughter and her fiance to a restaurant last Friday to celebrate her college graduation. I continue to support the economy while social distancing.

Yes, flatten does not mean eliminate. It was intended to slow the spread so hospitals weren't over run. The virus isn't going anywhere.

200,000 people died from the Spanish Flu the first year. We're at 80,000 after a little more than 2-months. Will this be just as bad? IDK. We should probably be careful though.

I don't take our constitution for granted, but I'm also not paranoid that it's going to be thrown away and our rights will be stripped.

The woman had drawn a lot of media attention publicly disobeying guidelines and begging to get arrested. With all the support she was getting, Ted Cruz saw it as free publicity and a chance to gain voters. He probably didn't realize the shit he was stepping in.

Trump has been the worst for encouraging disobedience. The whole country is fawked up.

Last weekend shots rang out while Fort Worth Police were trying to break up a party of 400+ people in a park. If any of them come down with the virus it won't be because they're black, it will be because they were at a party with 400 people!!

The good thing is that none of this is real, and it's just a plot to keep Trump from getting re-elected.

Have you ever came up on a intersection where the traffic lights are malfunctioning? And there are people in the intersection just sitting there because the light is red? I wonder sometime in the future if the world comes to an end, and a bunch of traffic lights malfunction, will I see cars there with skeletons sitting in the front seat. Why? Because they were afraid to pull up, look both ways and carefully proceed through a red light.

Would you ever break the law and be disobedient if you were caught at a malfunctioning red light and safely just go through it once you realized what was happening? We need laws and rules to be a functioning society. But in certain circumstances the rules need to be broken. We can figure out the fall out later.

Intersections with a malfunctioning traffic signal become a 4-way stop. Stop, take turns, and go.

I break laws all the time. I never intentionally speed past a cop though, even if I think the speed limit for that area is stupid.

I'm now thinking of all those Patriots that went to jail for DUI. They never got the DUI law changed. Poor bastards.

Yeah I did watch it. I seen something much more insidious then I had previously noticed though, had to go back through some mises articals from Jan...based on what I seen in Tejas monthly, quite a bit more variance with this guy then I remember.

I don't understand why these people in Michigan aren't picketing outside of the state house every single day, instead of having a gun rally every few weeks.

When people go on strike, they're out there every day come rain or shine. They even build little shacks. They don't just picket once every few weeks.

Apparently everything in Michigan is closed that's why people are protesting. Seems to me they have the time to spare.

There's a rally tomorrow. As a politician I'd take the day off. A minor inconvenience. If people were out there every day, I'd feel pressured to make changes.

The US numbers are dropping like a rocket because NY and NJ was the worst. Between two states it was literally half the cases at one point and they were locked down first. The cases popping up now, are states and cities who said "we arent effected" and waited before locking down. This is a time game.... you waited, your gonna keep seeing spikes...

This is 100% delayed reaction vs preperation. And NJ and NY are doing good now but have no plans of reopening anything yet. States that haven't even spiked yet are opening because they are looking at nation wide numbers, not their own.

I guarantee Georgia and florida will spike soon. No one seems to grasp the incubation period and non symptomatic rate. One infected person with no symptoms can wander around for 2 weeks spreading it to others. Its delayed.

And im currently at a weird wake thing for someone who died from this. They are jewish so im told it's shiva.
