Life has been pretty busy for me... I haven't had much time to work on my truck. I have however acquired several parts for things I want to do. I was doing inventory yesterday and most of my projects have the major pieces... but I'm lacking the minor things to complete. I'm hoping to get out today and pick some things up locally and get an Amazon order placed so I have better inventory on hand for this stuff.

I've been saying our Governor is going to shut our state down by the weekend... if it doesn't happen... I will be in shock.

Why do the deadly viruses seem to originate in China?

I believe it has to do with living conditions... and the fact there are so many "have nots".

I've also thought it may have something to do with N. Korea...

Who knows what the hell is going on in that country... and China is their largest supporter.

A billion people living in an area the size of a football field may have something to do with it...

Look at how mamy freaky viruses come from places like Africa, but we don't pay much attention to them because they never go anywhere. There's no people there and the ones that are there don't really travel so those crazy diseases just sorta stay there. If something like ebola hit china, we'd be screwed. Hell, there's probably some weirdo living in isolation in north america with some freaky infectious disease that could wipe out humanity but because that person doesn't live shoulder to shoulder with a billion other people, we will never know about that freaky disease.

I think this will be what shuts me down. Not the governor saying to close, but running out of parts and not being able to get them. We have a 3.0 day supply of basics like filters and fluids, but I have a T250 torn apart that needs and engine. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get one once Ford gives me the go-ahead.

My buddy works at a truck dealership (semi's). He said the sales department is closed down but the service department is booming. I guess the delivery trucks and what not still need to be on the road. Kinda seems like your either doing nothing, or working like mad. I work at home now so I chose not to do anything this week but I got a bunch of calls from people wanting work done on their boats. Im guessing folks sitting home bored are getting ready to go out fishing...

Same with my brother in law. Subaru dealership in Tenn. Closing sales down but service is open for time being.
Owner is giving all employees 2 weeks full pay for starters, more later if needed.

Well... Amazon is still delivering today. My T-Rex grill insert just showed up on my doorstep. They usually ring the door bell before leaving... no door bell today. Perhaps part of their new protocol... don't touch anything?

I haven’t heard a peep from Tasca. I think they might be shut down. Perpetual hold on their phone system and no replies from the email.

Word has it that companies are working on a process concerning cardboard boxes and treating them since, apparently, the viruses are an issue on them.

I did once get disco fever...

Disco fever causes you to tape a sausage to your leg and wear tight pants,right?
I hated disco at the time but after a decade of rap and hip hop I guess it wasn't so bad.
