Dont forget toilet paper woman.

Well now I know where all the T.P. is going...

Looks like the new cases per day have peaked... I'm not a scientist but that seems like a good thing.

*this is new cases per day in the U.S. not total confirmed cases.

That seems to be what's happening in Illinois. They're still considering extending the stay at home order past April 30th though.

I've been pretty good with it for the most part... but I'm about to go a little stir crazy.

The daily numbers may have peaked, but the numbers are still going up. Hearing officials on the news talk about how we've peaked, and flattening the curve makes me worry that people will think this is almost over, and get relaxed. This is still far from over. The virus is still out there. The only reason the numbers aren't climbing as quickly is from social distancing.

I think we will/should be into mid may before serious restrictions start lifting. Again, I base this on nothing. But any sooner seems premature to me...

Here in NJ mandatory face covering in stores just went into effect friday so new restrictions are still ongoing. One thing im dreading is seeing if numbers spike in a few days because of people who violated stay home orders for church on Easter sunday.

Still need to have patience. Don't want a "U" by letting up now.

We are the USA. We are addicted to a sine wave. Live, learn, forget, learn, forget....
"It can't happen to me"

I think letting up by mid May for NYC region would be a mistake.

My scientific reasoning behind the curve flattening is not due to social distancing but the combined average blood alcohol content of people lately. I don't think the virus can adapt to the new blood chemistry of your average American.

Whatever it takes... Drinkin' in the name of science.

Around here we have a chain liquor store called "buy rite", It's basically the walmart of booze. They are doing curbside service unloading cases upon cases into peoples cars, and I'm not just talking beer. People are there everyday buying cases of vodka, whiskey, wine, everything. They haven't had my brand of whiskey in stock in 2 weeks and usually there's 100 bottles of the stuff on the shelves.

There are people with signs on their front porches around town with signs that say "Honk and we'll drink". People playing drinking games across the street from each other like chug a beer everytime a red car drives by. It's astounding that this much drinking is happening but everyone actually seems to be following rules and staying in, wearing masks etc. It's quite comical in a very dark way.

One thing I have noticed is alot of fisherman not following rules. Parks are all closed but people were still loading up on the docks to fish well within 6 feet of each other. Fishing is still allowed here on wildlife manegment land but it won't be if idiots keep that crap up. Other states flat out banned fishing and I'm understanding why. Just go find a secluded place away from people to cast a line! It's really not that hard.

Dock fishing isn’t a problem here, I don’t think they have even put the docks back in yet.
