We will absolutely be #1. Spain, Italy, and iran have less people but our death rate is surprisingly low per person in comparison. Chinas numbers are falling off now which is good cause it gives us a timeline. Few more weeks, its gonna get worse but there is an end in sight.

We are never gonna make the "easter" deadline and if we do its gonna just come back hard. Containment and quarantine needs to go on for 2 weeks minimum after numbers stop rising.

China's numbers started in December with a huge population... ours only really started like 2 weeks ago.

I was tested lol... with a BS early test that apparently was for the flu not SARS. My mother works at a nursing home and they are asking for tests now and can't get any. Those people are literally just always sick so they have no idea what to do except keep the people on 100% lockdown. She said her place is more like a prison than a care facility. Even her office (administration) is cutoff from the rest of the staff. If people get a fever they call a hospital and ask if they can be moved but since they are quasi medical they are equipped to deal with mild conditions so people arent even going from there to the hospital unless they get serious symptoms. They check temps of the staff before entering or leaving, no visitor allowed, no one can leave their room, its insane.

I do mostly boats this time of year, ill just tell folks to drop the boat off and dont touch my house. Pay me with a credit card online and come back and get it. I dont want lepers touching my crap... normally ill let people hang out while I weld but now. Nope you stay in my driveway and leave.

My kids has a bad cough and mild fever. Called the dr and they are not seeing anyone with upper respiratory problems unless they meet a certain criteria.

If it is real bad their best advice is to go to the ER. It isn’t corona Or ER bad but when it comes to a 6 month old’s breathing I don’t mind a dr’s $.02...

0 reported cases in my county and the medical system is already paralyzed.

Our governor is on the channel 9 news right now talking about the stay home order that he issued today. People can send questions by email for him to be asked by the news anchor and a lot of them are sensible and informative. One woman asked if the golf courses will be allowed to open, she may not have the corona virus but she's for certain got the stupid virus. The order runs through May 4th.

I honestly think China's numbers are low. way low. remember, they hid this crap for 3 months, and transparency is not in their nature. I would not be surprised if the number of cases in China including number of deaths is double or triple what the official report is.
