Newbie here, how hard is it to change the core support on 2000?

Hello Elfiero, Welcome to TRS. Which core is that, sir?

Hello and welcome. I'm assuming your talking about the core support that attaches to the front cab mount bushings and the inner supports for your front fenders? If yes its fairly straight forward did it on my 1999 there is about 10 spot welds you have to drill out undo the front cab mounts and inner fender supports that's about it. obviously you have to take grill and lights off first and the other stuff that's attached rad can stay in place , just know some of the mounting bolts are going to snap no matter how nice you are to them trust me. I personally cut the top brackets that went to the fenders to have more room to drill out the welds. ?Hope that helps

@Andrew.V has it pretty much down to a T. The job is not difficult in terms of complexity, some parts of it are hard to accomplish physically, because the piece in question is welded in place.

We replaced the core support in a used Ranger at work earlier this year and it took the guy about half a day, but he has split his career between mechanical and body work.
