in the middle of a 302 swap. just got done pulling the 2.9 and that was a bitch (with the trans) so i really want the core support out of the way for the 302/c6 install. is there any way to unbolt it? or do i have to drill a million dumbass spot welds?

drill a million dumbass spot welds , trust me , unless you plan to replace the core support , it is not worth the time or effort

i drilled all the spot welds out when i replaced mine and it wasn't as bad as every one makes it seem, with a good drill bit it should only take a half hour to drill them all. when you put it back together you can just use bolts no need to reweld.
