Just started researching the Cooper STT's and they look awesome and I hear they perform as well too. The only problem is I'm having trouble finding them at local stores. Anybody know some places I could buy these? Also any body running either them or the Interco Trxus M/T's? What do you think? 'preciate it.

ive worked for 3 different cooper deals and can say cooper makes an excellent tire. they cost a little more, but they are damn near bullet proof...you WILL get your moneys worth out of them.

if none of your local tire shops can order them, it might be worth your time to take a trip into a larger city to a shop that can (call around first). you might also try online stores like tirerack.com...not sure if they carry coopers or not.

I had the ST's on an older Z71 I use to have and I had over 65k on them when I got rid of the truck. Them things were bullet proof, of course they were 10 plys, due to all the brush I use to drive thru on the farm. As far a the STT's, I had them on my Ranger till a railroad spike went thur one of the front ones :pissedoff:. I had over 40k on the back ones and they still looked new. Good tire.

dont run em if you need a tire thats gonna get 25k
i have run 31x10.5's on my ranger twice and on a jeep once and 33x12.50's on my old yoda. i have nothing negative to say about them except that they wear very fast, other than that they are a great tire and they perform extremely well

It took me 2 minutes on coopers website to find this.

As for the tread wear on the STTs. Mine have 20k on them, December will be a year. Mine right now are a little over half life/ 50% tread left. It's far from a street tire so don't drive on them like street tires. Take it easy on them, keep rotating them, and keep your alignment in spec. You know the way your supost to take care of your tires.

I can tell you most of my wear is not from the street though. Due to the soft compound of the "Super Treaction Tread" The rocks eat em up.
You can see in the pics the tread is still at Lincolns nose. You can also see how cut and chewed up they get in rocks.

I plan on buying another set. I am extremely happy with this tire. Although by then my SAS will be done and the truck will be up 10". I will run the 37X12.50R17LT STTs on 17" steelies.

I ordered the Mastercraft Courser M/T's today. They are made by Cooper and are available at local dealers.
