I need a new connector, with pigtail, for the coolant temperature sensor that goes to the temperature gage in the instrument cluster. The dealer can't figure out which one of many connectors is correct. I found a kit for the sensor that goes to the computer. It has a connector, a sensor and even shrink tubing. I can't find the equivalent for the sensor that goes to the temperature gage.

Does anyone have a part number for either the connector with pigtail by itself or the complete kit for the sensor that goes to the temperature gage?

if not, take your part to the junkyard and find one in good shape and note what vehicle it comes from so you can take that one or order if none are good enough for what you need

I went to the dealer to work with them on finding the connector. We found it and I ended up paying $70 for it. I knew I was paying too much but I needed it today and they were able to get it for me. For anyone else that needs one, the PN is 3U2Z14S411LXB. I checked online at TASCA Ford and they list it for $25. I am sure it can be had for less.

I did a little searching when you posted the question all I seemed to be able to find was the ECT connector.

I had a plan to just cut off a good one next time I was at a scrap yard.

Was that part number a repair pigtail and not just a connector body?

That part number is a repair pigtail with shrink tubing.

I am going to order the ECT repair kit that includes the pigtail, shrink tubing and sensor. I would like to have it as a spare and install it the next time I have the intake manifold off.

Do you have the part number for the ECT connector? I looked closer at the ECT repair kit I found and the sensor in it is the threaded type. My sensor is the push in type with the wire clip retainer, so it will not work for me. That part number for the ECT connector would be very helpful to me since I can't find it.

I seen it on ebay with the old part number and the new part number.

I also saw this one but it isn't an actual Ford number that is typical

Thanks, I will look into those.
